A Note to Self

A smooth ascent is all we need,

A sorrow-less life to the Almighty, I plead!

Good deeds, we all must do

Yes, without any further ado!!!!

Intentions good, we must keep

To help out people, that we can reach (to)

Doing right, when not being noted

Is the way in the Supreme's eye, we’d be doted

Peace of mind, we crave for

God has always blessed us; 

with way more than we have asked for

I humbly address the Divine,

To give me foresight,

So that I can lead a life that is

Simple, fulfilling and bright!

He helps us throw away these rotten slices

Greed, jealously, avarice and the other vices

The unseen Force enriches our living

Keeps us away from materialistic cravings

Up we go, in the ladder of life

Keeping in mind what’s wrong and right

Uplifting others, with gaiety & might

To the Lord from up above,

wouldn't this be a wonderful sight?

Situational Musing

....

so cheer up, as the God's have sent

challenges and opportunities for you on rent

even if for something, you are hell-bent

only those things happen, that are for you meant

refrain from indulging in anything in the present

that'll make you & your tomorrow repent

analyzing the time till now you've spent

cannot change already the incurred dents

confusion persists at most times

all I'm doing now is whine :-|

the time now is not all that fine

hence sat down, to type a poem that rhymes :P

hopeless as i can get

riding a low tide now, you bet

its not hard as it now seems

life looks like an unfinished dream

having loads to achieve in life

where problems are a rife

its just as if at my neck, pointed a knife

why does success come only after strife?

crucial decisions for me await

how much of me is this gonna take?

body mind & soul, this does consume

all will be good thereafter, i presume

......

Life - As we know it!

Living life in totality

Is nothing but acceptance

of the magnanimity of life

The tiniest of our actions

that ripple repercussions

The realization of the Self

Belief in the Formless

Enjoying the everyday Chaos

Knowing that it will all eventually settle

Accepting death

Knowing that we make an impact on

every single person we meet

Acceptance of Life of every form

The Evolution of our Mind

The flowering of our thoughts
To Love, To be loved

Overcoming laziness

Liking being busy

Taking a stand in this slippery world

And marking a place for ourselves

In-spite of knowing that nothing is forever

The realization that some people are more fortunate than the others

And that everyone is running a race, one of a kind

Stop judging people

Knowing that bad things don't last, it never does!

Facing hardships head-on

Breaking down; Gearing up again!!

Living life in totality is being grateful

For everything

This Life

This very moment

Being still from within despite all the commotion and the madness

Life is amusing....

Life is amazing...

When we live life in totality

As a spectator of all events

With acceptance

With great courage

We survive, We live, We thrive!!!!

Friend?

The whole world seems to be living with a blurry definition of friendship. Knowing someone for a long time doesn't really make them a friend. There are associations we make in various stages of life. There are acquaintances. Loads of em. People you know, 'just know'! But how well? How deep? And how truly? It's popularly said that people come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime.... 

Irrespective of the phase of life you are in, the most important thing is keeping that person involved and informed about the important happenings in your life, however busy you get. It's crazy seeing everyone calling everyone a friend these days. I often feel sad about the illusion in which people live in.... 

• I know my neighbor since 18 years, I can in no way call the lady my friend. 
• You attend grad school with so many people. How on earth can you call all of them your friends? Does their posting "Happy Birthday!" once in a year on your Facebook wall make them your friend? :-O 

It's not about approving or rejecting people. It's more about the people you really connect with and wanna associate yourself with. Not everyone that comes in your life should be a friend nor will be worthy of being one! One true friend is enough for life... in all probability you'll living in different states...or even worse... different countries.... distance never is a barrier with such close friends..!!! :) 

Everyone is not a friend, neither an enemy, many frenemies though ;) but that one person who becomes a true friend becomes nothing less than family! So quit calling everyone a friend because they really ain't :-P :-P
